The following information was taken from the September 2000 issue of Brotherhood Beacon, pages 8-12:
Following is a symposium on "CMC 2000" which gives the experiences of a number of attendees. Much more could have been included such as a response on the Men's Fellowship Programs on Friday and the several workshops on Saturday if there had been room.
The responses on the Ministers' Business Meeting and the Christian Education Program were written by Kenneth Wengerd, Apple Creek, Ohio, associate pastor of the Fairlawn congregation. The Youth Programs were reported on by Joseph Byler, Jr. Salisbury, Pennsylvania, son of Joseph Byler, Sr., pastor of the Oak Dale Congregation. Ida Maust, my good wife, furnished a response on the Women's Fellowship program. The Saturday and Sunday general session impressions were written by Brian Hershberger, pastor of the Trinity Chapel, Tavares, Florida.
